I have always loved breakfast foods. Any kind, any time, all day. But when you’re busy running two businesses, supporting a super busy husband and chasing a crazy toddler around, whipping up some eggs or anything else from scratch is out of the question. Weekends? Sure. Weekdays? Definitely not. SHAKEOLOGY to the rescue. Shakeology is a nutrient-dense meal replacement shake. It comes in a variety of flavors, but chocolate is my absolute favorite. Vanilla next. Strawberry is third. I am already worried about where the new coffee-flavored Shakeology will fit into this list when it comes out next year!
This morning was our typical Thursday morning. I got my workout in, moved on to fixing lunches, getting a school backpack ready, feeding the dogs, etc. I had two cups of cold leftover coffee in the fridge from yesterday’s pot (WHY didn’t I finish it?! I needed it! I digress…), so I went with a cafe vanilla! I encourage you to give it a try if you need a quick way to get in breakfast and that extra cup of coffee!

This is for TWO shakes:
4 cups of ice (use less if you don’t want it a thick shake)
2 cups of cold coffee-don’t use hot coffee!
2 scoops of vanilla Shakeology
splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup of water (more or less depending on how much ice you use)
splash of vanilla extract (optional)
