Hey moms. I know you. You’re tired. From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed, you’re focused on everyone else.
Pack the lunches, wash the dishes, feed the kids, throw a load of laundry in the wash, drop the kids off, run the errands, feed the dogs (and the fish), feed the kids again, help with homework, start dinner, feed the family (why are they so hungry?!), bath time, pajamas, books, snuggles, bed time (God willing), then crash and do it all again 6 hours later. 😔
I get it. That’s my schedule too. But you know what? 6 months ago I finally made the decision to do something for ME. I started squeezing 30 minutes a day in for a workout. Then I paid more attention to what I was eating (and everyone in my house was eating). Then I started telling people about my journey.
Now my whole life has been changed. Think that’s dramatic? Its not, really.
I’ve realized what working out does to my mood (and what happens when I skip it. Sorry, dearJosh). I’ve noticed my family will eat more healthy options than I ever thought possible. I noticed I have SO much more energy to chase my toddler around (and who doesn’t need that?!) I have friends- WOMEN friends- who are positive, uplifting and are on this same mission to change lives and end the trend of obesity. 🙌
